Birds, birds, birds

We currently have a bit of a theme going in the gallery at the moment with two and three dimensional work inspired by birds and flight.  From garden birds to seagull these pieces celebrate the colour, movement and landscape of our feathered friends.  The exhibition includes prints and delicate hand printed books by Pauline Pearce, bold acrylic paintings by Carmen Veliz, gentle prints and textiles by Angela Lai Yen, colourful paintings by Sarah Duncan and mixed media collage by Sarah Cowper.  I have also been working on a range of bird inspired bowls and vases and some bird sculptures can also be found nestling amongst the plants and flowers of the gallery garden.

New mosaics

Caroline Casswell's mosaics have been very popular so she's made some more and they're now in the gallery.  This one is called 'Snowdrops':

Brrrr.... it's cold out there

so have a cup of tea (or coffee or hot chocolate!) in one of our new mugs.  The designs are taken from my paintings, which are also available as giclee prints.  The mugs are £10 each and come with a gift box.

Made in Bristol Gift Fair - Saturday 15th December 10am-4pm

We've a stall at the Made in Bristol Fair at the Colston Hall from 10am till 4pm on December 15th.  There'll be some wonderful Christmas present ideas so come along for some beautiful hand made gifts.

Christmas on Christmas Steps

On Saturday 1st December there will be an Artisan Market on Christmas Steps with stalls selling crafts, gifts and food between 11am and 4pm.  Please join us for a glass of mulled wine in the gallery and browse our lovely and unusual Christmas present ideas.
